Welcome to the Thrilling Days of Yesteryear . . . .

Return with us to the days of the Golden Age of flying models when aviation was the dream of every young man, and rubber-powered flying scale models could be purchased anywhere, including gas stations, bicycle shops, dime stores, variety stores, department stores, and yes, even hobby shops! Times sure do change. Now it's hard to find a hobby shop, much less a rubber flying scale model, buddies to fly with, or flying sites. The FLYING ACES club can help.

The FLYING ACES club is a club for builders and fliers of old-fashioned rubber-powered flying scale models. The FLYING ACES club provides opportunities to meet with other enthusiasts, organized flying meets, competition, and sources for supplies, plans, and kits. If you live in the Seattle area, join the Eagle Squadron 34 FLYING ACES club TODAY!

Why the local chapter is called Eagle Squadron 34

The "Eagle" squadrons were three WWII British squadrons (No. 71, No. 121, & No. 133) flying British aircraft, and populated entirely by American pilots. While the Eagle squadrons missed the Battle of Britain, they did fly raids into France until they were transferred into the regular USAAF in September 1942. The Seattle Area FLYING ACES club chapter is the 34th chapter to be authorized by the National Flying Aces club.
