This was our first annual Earl Stahl design contest. Any Earl Stahl design built to any size was eligible for this event, and it proved to be a popular event indeed! |

Al Likely, our CD for the Earl Stahl event, with his VERY pretty Stahl Taylorcraft. Al had the misfortune of having this beautiful model fly OOS at the meet. |
| The Earl Stahl entries line up for a photo. From left to right; Al Likely with his Taylorcraft, Frank Hirleman with his P-51A, Jim Woods with his Miles Magister, and Ron Vanden Bossche with his Cessna 195 and F4F Wildcat. Quite a variety of aircraft! |
