Shooting Bench Plans

Materials List for a Right-handed Shooting Bench

  Qty Material
(1) 28" x 36" x 1" plywood (I used 3/4 inch on the original - 1 inch will work better). (3) 1 & 1/4" floor flange, galvanized (3) 1 & 1/4" x 30" galvanized pipe, threaded both ends. (when you get these pipes, make sure they have the plastic protective caps on the ends.) Be VERY CAREFUL when handling the pipes - the threads are SHARP! (3) screw-on galvanized metal end caps for the pipes (1) 1" x 4 1/2" x 24" Oak - get this bit in the finished lumber section of the hardware. This is actually more than you need, but you need the extra length to clamp into your vice. Actual cross-section size is about 15/16" x 4 3/8". (6) 2" x 1/4" diameter wood screws with countersunk heads (6) 1 1/2" x 1/4" diameter wood screws with countersunk heads
