Color No-Cal Stick-on Markings

To make decorating your No-Cal air force a little easier, here's a complete line of color peel-and-stick markings for the no-cals listed in our catalog. These color sheets are printed on a plastic film 0.0023-0.0025 inches thick, and 0.048 grams/square inch for the clear, and 0.0028-0.003 inches thick and 0.07 grams/square inch for the gloss white.

Markings with white details are printed on the white film with the marking background colored to match the background tissue color. While every effort has been made to match the background tissue color, the differences in texture between the tissue and the smooth plastic film make matching the tissue color difficult at best. Several models require the tissue to be dyed to match the scale color scheme, and if their markings have white details, they will be printed with a background which is as close to the dyed tissue color as possible.

Markings without white details are printed on a clear matt film.

ORDERING MARKINGS
Marking sheets can not be shipped flat - they are sealed individually in plastic "bubble tubes" to protect them from being touched. Because of this, they must be shipped in a box. See special line on order form for shipping charges.

MARKINGS ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!!
Be very careful when handling the markings. Moisture on your hands is enough to smear the markings.
This note is taken from the "TIPS" part of the manufacturer's recommendations:

"For durability, spray on a light coating of clear fixative such as KRYLON No. 1303 or Blair Marker Fix (in a well-ventilated area) and allow to dry thoroughly. Follow direction on can."

I have not used either product, so proceed at your own risk. I have used KRYLON Matte Finish No. 1311, which seems to work OK, although I think it goes on a bit heavy.

Using the marking sheets:
Cut out the individual markings, peel off the backing, and apply to the model. Markings should be applied AFTER the model parts have been covered!

Handle Carefully!
Do not lay anything on top of the marking sheets! It will stick to the markings!

Be careful when peeling the backing off. The backing material is the same thickness as the marking sheet, so it can be difficult to remove. Because the peel-off film is plastic, the ink can be scraped off if not handled carefully.
